Lock function keys (F1 - F12). Optional toggle to also block the entire function row including Mission Control, Spotlight, brightness, volume, and keyboard backlight.
Menu bar icon picker. Choose from a few icon styles for the menu bar. Requested by Agnes.

Power-user features behind a new Advanced section

Stats counter. See how many keystrokes Cats Lock has blocked for you.
Lock built-in keyboard only. Keep external keyboards working while the built-in is locked. Requested by Steffen.
Voice recording for the warning sound. Record your own short clip and use it as the warning sound. Requested by Agnes.
Custom overlay text. Change the message that appears on the lock screen.
More ambient sounds. Purring, spa mode, and other calm sounds for when the cat wins.

Lock hardening and quick access

Desktop widget. One-click keyboard lock right from your desktop. No menu bar dropdown, no shortcut needed.
Unlock with mouse only. Option to disable the keyboard shortcut entirely and require the on-screen unlock button. For when even a complicated combo isn't safe from a determined paw. Requested by NM (and Socrates).

Reach more users

Localization. Cats Lock translated into more languages, prioritized by where it's finding an audience.

SmartLock. Automatic detection of when your cat is on the keyboard. We have ideas. We'll figure it out eventually.
